Advocacy

Supporting the Needs of Survivors

Kol Israel Foundation advocates for Survivors and supports a variety of programs that provides assistance to them and their descendants. Our leaders serve on the Holocaust Survivors Advisory Committee of the Jewish Family Service Association. We partner with JFSA to help make sure that every Survivor, who is eligible, receives reparations and pensions for their suffering during World War II.

Medical Sensitivity Training

We provide a Medical Professionals Sensitivity Training Program that works with doctors, dentists, nurses and aides to help them understand the specific emotional and psychological needs of Survivors. We offer this program free of charge.

Community Building

We organize multi-generational social and educational events that bring together Survivors, their children and grandchildren, and supporters throughout the community.
