What would your life story have been?  

Could you have survived?

As someone who has heard and documented a multitude of eyewitness survivor testimonies, I often wonder how anyone could have survived the systematic dehumanizing tactics, the terrorism and the heinous murders perpetrated by the Nazis and their supporters. What kept these Jews alive? Hope? Strength? Courage? Compassion? Resilience? Religion? Perhaps, all of the above.

Imagine living in eastern Europe in the late 1930s.
