2022 Award Criteria
EDUCATOR AWARD
An educator in either middle school, high school, or higher education teaching a best practice-based Holocaust curriculum for at least 3 years.
An educator who goes above and beyond a curriculum with creativity.
Partners with KIF to bring Holocaust education to the community.
COMMUNITY LEADER AWARD
Has demonstrated Tikkun Olam in a variety of ways.
Shares KIF’s commitment to RESILIENCE, REMEMBRANCE and HOLOCAUST EDUCATION.
Shares KIF’s commitment to applying the lessons of the Holocaust to educate the community on the extreme danger of Hate, Intolerance and Racism.
VOLUNTEER AWARD
A descendant of a Holocaust Survivor who presents his/her family’s stories of survival in an effort to educate students on the lessons of the Holocaust via Face to Face®.
Committed to the growth and development of KIF.
Embodies decency and kindness in the greater community.
MEDIA AWARD
Media that consistently supports coverage on the Holocaust and its related lessons, supports anti-bias perspective, and helps to engage the community around this topic.
Regularly reports on topics of interest to the Survivor community, including educational programs, memorials, fundraisers, and hate crimes.
Covers importance of combatting anti-Semitism, racism, xenophobia, and other forms of hate.
